Annual Mableton Community Day!
Our newest and perhaps most ambitious endeavor yet! This year for the 6th Annual Mableton Community Day, MIC and the South Cobb Arts Alliance joined with the founding organization, Pebblebrook Jr. Falcon's. The celebration was hosted at the Mable House Arts Complex for the first time and was bigger and better than ever before. We added the Mableton 5K and it was a huge success! This annual celebration requires months of planning so come help us make next year even better as we learn from our experiences.

MIC has adopted a mile on Floyd road that we clean up quarterly. Volunteers are always needed for our mile, and we would also be happy to help you through the process of adopting your own mile!

MIC has adopted a mile of Nickajack Stream at the Nickajack Park that we clean up on a quarterly basis – come out splash in the stream with us!

MIC holds an annual holiday gift drive for the kids who go to our local B&G Club. Or you could get directly involved with the club!

Have a green thumb? Come join us in our brand new Historic Community Gardens across from the Amphitheater or in the original gardens at Nickajack park!

Community Fitness Initiative – click here for more info
This program organized for the purpose of facilitating aerobic activity for local residents to improve their overall health and physical fitness. The group meets every Tuesday at 6:30 at the Mable House Complex and runs or walks in the shady quiet surrounding neighborhoods.

Thanks to the ARC, Mableton's fledgling Farmers Market started in the summer of 2010 has grown in 2011! Open every Thursday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Mable Tea Room - Holiday Event
MIC volunteers staff the Tea Room for a day during the Mable House Arts and Crafts Christmas sale; proceeds benefit MIC and the South Cobb Arts Alliance scholarship program.
