Ray Thomas

Ray Thomas, President

Ray currently serves as Chairman of the Homeowner Association’s Advisory Board at Legacy of the River Line subdivision in Mableton. Previously, he has served as President of Hamilton Mill Community Association, Gwinnett County’s largest residential community comprising over 2200 homes, fishing lake, golf club, 16 tennis courts, and two swimming centers. He has also served on various HOA boards and committees in Alpharetta and Washington DC.

Ray is also Vice President of Mableton Improvement Coalition (MIC).  He is responsible for MIC’s successful sponsorship program, is an active member of the MIC’s Zoning Committee, and advocated for the successful implementation of Design Guidelines for Mableton Parkway and Veterans Memorial Highway. He and his subdivision have adopted Discovery Boulevard under the county’s Adopt-A-Mile program. Ray and his team (“Normal Nobodies”) are currently working on creating MIC’s HOA Network to connect neighborhoods within Mableton and surrounding communities. Ray has been in management for 37 years with Ally Financial Services. He and his lovely wife of 39 years, Sharon, are dedicated community servants who enjoy bringing people together. They have a beautiful daughter and an amazing grandson.

Steve Jungk

Steve Jungk, Vice President

Steve Jungk moved to Mableton in 2015 with his wife Alyce. In addition to serving on the Board of the HOAN he is on the Board of the HOA for The Retreat at Old Vinings Lake, the Mableton Improvement Coalition and the Mableton Community Fund. Prior to moving to this fair community Stave worked as a IT Consultant for the State of Louisiana for 30 years.

Jeniffer Jerral

Jeniffer Jerral, Secretary

Jeniffer Jerral is a Real Estate Broker and owns Jerral Realty Group, an affiliate with Keller Williams Realty, where Jeniffer assists clients with their real estate needs.

Prior to Jeniffer obtaining her Broker’s License, Jeniffer was a Community Association Manager for over 10 years, and has worked with some of the largest property management companies in Metro Atlanta, managing various types of homeowners associations. Jeniffer’s experience has afforded her the opportunity to understand the unique dynamics of managing complex homeowners associations, to include condominiums, townhomes and single family homes.

Jeniffer is fluent in Spanish, she is married to her wonderful husband Eric and they have an adult daughter.

Keylan Mitchell

Keylan Mitchell, Board Member

Keylan has been a resident of Mableton for over 7 years and loves the diversity and quality of life in Mableton. Keylan and his wife Erika reside in the Brookmere subdivision where he is President of the Brookmere HOA. Keylan is also an active member of Mableton Improvement Coalition and has the pleasure of serving on the Cobb County Parks and Recreation Board. Keylan agreed to serve the MIC HOA Network because he believes it can galvanize local communities towards improving the quality of life for all residents.

Liza Harris, Board Member

Liza is a New York native, residing in Mableton since early 2000. She holds a degree in Economics and has worked several years in Finance and Accounting. She is a licensed Insurance Broker and Advisor, specializing in Health Benefits and Retirement Planning. She is currently a board member in her community.  “I believe knowledge is power and information is gold, with that belief, I strive to strengthen the communities and people around me.”

Monique Sheffield

Monique Sheffield, Member At Large

Monique Sheffield has been a Cobb resident for 20+ years, living in Austell, Powder Springs and now Mableton. She has served on HOA Boards as its Vice President and President, and currently serves as her HOA Treasurer. During her corporate career, she has worked as a legal and human resources professional. Currently, Ms. Sheffield is a real estate broker and co-owner of Sheffield Realty Group, Inc., and is also a certified instructor with the Georgia Real Estate Commission. She was appointed by Commissioner Lisa N. Cupid on January 1, 2017, to serve on, and currently serves on the Cobb Board of Zoning Appeals as its representative for the Fourth District. She volunteers with United Way, Salvation Army, and Open Hand Atlanta.
