Restaurant Spotlight – Sabores

Sep 17, 2019 | Restaurants

One of the most talked-about subjects in our Facebook group is restaurants. MIC’s Economic Development Committee decided to visit Mableton restaurants periodically and provide some basic information about them — or in other words, “shine a spotlight” on the restaurants in our community. MIC does not endorse the restaurants; the Spotlight exists simply to introduce Mabletonians to restaurants in Mableton.

Date of visit: September 6, 2019 (This is an update to our original spotlight from February 2018, when the restaurant first opened. Since then, they have expanded their space and now serve dinner.)

(Entrée) – Grilled Veggie Panini  (eggplant, zucchini squash, goat cheese, roasted peppers) served with plantain chips – very tasty and HUGE!
(Entrée) – Mofongo con Camarones (Mofongo with Shrimp & sauce) – mofongo served as shaped bowl (made from mashed plantains, garlic, salt, broth, olive oil) with tasty shrimp and sauce pooled in the bowl, served with fresh mixed greens salad and delicious light vinaigrette
