Restaurant Spotlight – Mexico Lindo
One of the most talked-about subjects in our Facebook group is restaurants. MIC’s Economic Development Committee decided to visit Mableton restaurants periodically and provide some basic information about them — or in other words, “shine a spotlight” on the restaurants in our community. MIC does not endorse the restaurants; the Spotlight exists simply to introduce Mabletonians to restaurants in Mableton.

Ambience: Recently renovated with lots of natural light, more open space, beautiful variety of overhead lighting, some new furniture and wall décor, freshly treated, shiny rustic concrete flooring

Experience: Great new menu; lunch crowd quickly populated the space. Our orders:
Black Bean Mango Salad: Fresh diced mango, cucumber, tomato, avocado, black beans over romaine lettuce served with fresh mango vinaigrette. Seafood/meat/poultry can be added.
Chilaquiles: grilled chicken, spicy tomato sauce, shredded cheese, topped with sour cream, parmesan cheese, diced onions, avocado slices, cilantro and tomatoes over crispy tortilla chips; large serving. Minced chorizo can be added. (We did and are glad we did.)
Korean BBQ Taco Trio: Sweet/spicy BBQ pork topped with cucumber, cilantro, red bell pepper.
Definitely recommend; almost a brand-new place, and the patio appears almost finished. Live music on the weekends.
