Cobb County School District Strategic Plan

Nov 26, 2019 | Education

The Cobb County School District is in the process of updating its 5-year Strategic Plan to make sure our graduates are entering college and the workforce with the knowledge and skills which matter to you. This strategic plan draft has been created after hearing from thousands of Cobb students, teachers, parents, and community members, however it’s important that you get one more chance to review and provide input.

As a resident of Cobb County and the Mableton community, we all have the responsibility to contribute to the success of our schools.  Simply put, our graduates of today are the community leaders and neighborhood residents of tomorrow.  Your dedicated time and commitment to supporting our schools is one of the many ways you can have a direct positive impact on what it means to be a “Cobb County Graduate.”  It’s important that you take time to review the components of the five year plan and provide your input.  The Strategic Plan describes how Cobb Metrics data will be used to help form assessments to achieve student success.

Student Success – CTLS (Cobb Teaching and Learning System) key focus areas.

  • Empowering Teachers
  • Demonstrates Learning
  • Provides Accountability
  • Realigns Time
  • Transforms Systems

Making sure this plan represents what is important to our community is important to the Cobb Board of Education and the Superintendent.  Please take time to briefly review and share any thoughts which are important to you on the following survey: The Cobb County School District Strategic Plan. http://rebrand.ly/cobbstrategicplan
